Wow! What an awesome Easter day!! This year was a little different than every other years for me and oh man was it awesome! Austin and I played Mary and Joeseph in an amazing Easter play. It was such an amazing experience all around. There was one service on Sat at 2, and a second one on Easter Sunday at 5 in the morning! That was a little difficult.....we were super tired and extremely freeeezing! But, Austin and I met some wonderful people, and that made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. I felt so honored taking on the role of Mary. The play took place outside at the Vasquez national park, and my godness it is a beautiful sight! I am so greatful I was involved with this play...not only was I thrilled to be apart of it, but also astonished with how much it impacted me seeing the character playing Jesus hanging on a wooden cross; something about seeing in person rather than video does something for me. All that to say, I love Easter, but my goal for the rest of the year is to carry out constant greatfulness for my Lord's sacrifice everyday for the entire year, rather than having to be reminded with a holiday.
